Today is 26th of June, tomorrow is the 27th. This week is the 26th calendar week, the next one is the 27th. And...
I was asked today "Bist du denn schon 18?" (Are you actually already 18?) :)))
Need to celebrate it!

Home
An overwhelming documentary about the Earth filmed only by four people and available on youtube. It was shown for free in cinemas. This movie is so beautiful. A russian version is also available.

The Black Forest
Ok, it is actually Schwarzwald, but Schwarzwald sounds so... geographically... This weekend we have been to the Black Forest - noble Baden-Baden, wooden Breitnau in the middle of nowhere, sunny Titisee, very green Feldberg (the highest mountain in Schwarzwald), surprising Bad Säckingen. The contrast between very touristic places (like Titisee) and small lost villages, where people live for generations and generations is enormous. And the distance between them is only 10 km. It was nice to stop to buy some cherry (you must know the Schwarzwaldkirschen - the cherry cake) on the road. And once it was a self service... Full of cherries and box with money where you could take your cashback...
We stayed in two small apartments. The first one was in Breitnau (Bruckbach 20), our Navi didn't know where it is, so we asked at all houses, the fifth was our. We lived on the second floor, in the first floor lived the family Kleiser, in the third - their daughter with her own family. As we went for a walk, we saw in the forest a small gravestone, 1918 for family Kleiser...
The second appartmens was in Tegernau, Besengasse 4. It belongs to the family Bauer. There were two guestbooks in our room. The first entry was dated 1979! Many people came there four, six and even eight times. Surprising was to read the entry from 19.10.1990: "We were the first ones here! Thank you for marvellous two weeks! Greetings from Dresden". Many entries were about cats, tasty milk, cakes and schnaps. One cat was very big and black, so we called it Begemot. We booked the appartments on the Schwarzwald-Site, but it is better to book directly, without the site fee.
On the recommendation of Frau Bauer we went to Bad Säckingen. Surprising that this town was not noted in all my travel guides. The long wooden bridge, which leads to Switzerland, beautiful Monastery, nice squares full of young people, mountain-blue Rhine (not like the dark green Rhine in Wiesbaden)...
There are plenty of places we have not seen there: the old town of Freiburg, beautiful waterfalls, Donau origin, Furtwangen, Windbuchen on Schauinsland (beeches bent by the wind), Wutach gorge, stalactive caves... So there are plenty of reasons to come back...

The best song of the week
Wonderful song of Die Ärzte:
Ich bin reich
Отрывок (начиная с 2:44)
И я умный,
Такой умный,
Ууууу,
какой я умный,
Я почти такой же умный, как красивый...

Today is such a wonderful day and not only because of the cool number combination.
